About

Ivy and Teresa
Dr. Ivy has a Ph.D. in Communication and over two decades of research into listening, identity, and human connection. She is a life coach and a retreat creator whose lifelong work explores how we listen to ourselves, to others, and to the world. She believes that true transformation doesn’t come from doing more but from learning to be with what is.
Known for her calm presence, depth of insight, and rare ability to hold space, Ivy creates intimate retreats where women feel safe enough to exhale and reimagine their lives. Ivy is passionate about restoring listening as a sacred, embodied practice that heals, connects, and empowers. Her facilitation style is gentle yet precise, always returning to the question: What becomes possible when we truly listen?
In addition to her awards in leadership and pedagogical development, Ivy brings a creative lens to her work. Her art exhibitions and published nonfiction and fiction books explore themes of listening, transformation, silence, and voice. With Ivy, you’ll step into a space that is at once profoundly held and wildly freeing.
Teresa walks beside each retreat with steadiness and care. She holds the space in practical ways — making sure things run smoothly, gently noticing what others might miss, and being there when presence matters most. Her calming energy creates a sense of safety and reassurance, supporting participants throughout their journey.
Having experienced her own healing path, Teresa deeply understands the power of slowing down, truly seeing others, and listening without judgment. Her quiet knowing and intuitive sense of what’s needed shape everything she does, whether guiding participants through their moments of vulnerability or ensuring that each retreat detail is perfectly in place.
Though Teresa is more often in the background, her contribution is foundational—her grounding presence complements Ivy's deeper, transformative work. Together, they create a space where women can pause, listen to themselves, and reconnect with what truly matters.
